Natural Language Principles in Perl

This is a very interesting paper by Larry Wall on designing programming languages to work naturally. It's the basis for Perl, and to a certain extent, the other 'scripting' languages like Python and Ruby. It's not so much a tutorial as it is a nice paper on language theory. Important reading for any Perl programmer!
