Automated Testing with Perl

Saturday February 9, 2008
This is a nice, but short article on how to automate web site testing using the perl modules LWP, WWW::Mechanize, and Test::More. Although it lacks any really good examples, it's an interesting read and should give you some ideas on how you can script your own testing.

Thanks for the link Kirk! I test websites professionally using Perl and I’d love to provide some examples on my blog of types of automation that you think your users may find helpful.

Please let me know what you’d like to see and, again, thanks for the write up!

Very nice, although probably more advanced than I need at the moment. I’m trying to learn Perl in order to make my site data driven. Thanks for all you do and the articles you post.

Happy Dae.
